Hey, sorry to open up a dead thread but I've got to ask how you painted the inside of your headlights? Did you rip them apart and then glue it back together or is there a better way to do this? Its funny how I rebuilt the engine on my g37 but I can't wrap my head around how to get on the inside of the headlight.

There's only really one way to get inside your headlight. One way or another you need to hear the butyl glue and physically force the headlight front lens from the rear housing. Most people opt to do this with an oven, but the "better" way is to use a heat gun. Check the DIY section, there's a few instructions already written (one of them by yours truly) for opening headlights. There another for painting them.

Alternatively, if you don't have the time or ***** to open your headlights and risk moisture getting in, you can send them off to be done for you. 180 customs will do it, they're based in New York, but it will be pricey.
