Finally traded up. Sold my 350z AT white for a G37S Coupe MT red with only 185xx. What a difference over the Z. My wife's only gripe was no back seat, finally relented, sold the Z Tuesday. Bought the G on Thursday. WOW...this is the car I wanted. I was so happy with my Z. The power difference and feel in substantial......but let's be honest, it's probably because the Z was AT. Already did both clutch mods to make the clutch...errr....less difficult. Read about it and figured might as well before I get too used to the stock way. took the Z to the Ring once and am excited to tighten the G's suspension and give her a lap. Can't wait to pick your brains.

 

Congrats on the G, too bad you lost the Z but sounds like you ended up w/ a great new ride. How cool to be able to drive the Ring, that's got to be an incredible drive, gotta say I'm a bit Jelly

 

I was just in Germany, wanted to rent a car to drive the ring but it was crazy expensive. Then when we drove by the hockenheim ring, on our way back from a week in France, they had a big race at the Hockenheim Ring. Why couldn't I marry into a family that are car fanatics? Lol!

 

You are leaving my dream. My brother and I always talk about shipping our cars to Germany so we can drive the ring. It will eventually happen since his wife is from Germany lol congrats on the ride and looking forward to seeing it as it progresses.

 

I was there once while in the US Army based near Stuttgart in 1965

I parked my 66 VW Beedle on the side of the road and received a parking ticket which I still have. Never got around to paying it.
I hope the German Police never find me to confiscate my G
