Like many, I have been lurking around the site for ages and always wanted a G coupe. Took me a while because I wanted to finish school to finally jump the gun. So I finally picked up my vehicle over the weekend....super excited!

It's an '08 Blue Slate 6MT S, everything but tech package. I've come from a long line of Nissan Maxima's (most recent one was a ’02 6MT titanium edition), while I absolutely loved them I figured it was time for me to join the RWD world. I MUST say I do love it!

Plans:

My coupe did not come with the OEM spoiler fine, but I like it much better with one so that will be the first mod I will be doing, soon to also come will be a mild drop and tints. I've always loved the purr of the G's but now that I own one, I feel that it's not enough lol.....So I'll be looking towards purchasing an exhaust next summer and maybe an intake.

She drives great and I have no regrets!

Originally from NYC but I'm in the central New York area now (work),...the G community is very limited here is anyone else in the CNY?

Welcome to the site, nice coupe you found and seems to be worth the wait!
Should be a decent number of Gs within a reasonable drive from your area (much better than in New Mexico, lol). Have fun w/ your new ride and happy modding!

 

Thanks man I appreciate it, it was indeed a wait that was WELL worth it! I'll have a fun time modding before these school loans kick in lol.

Thanks man I appreciate it! Not sure exactly what captree is, (assuming it's a common location for meets?) If so I'm generally not back in the NYC area until summer time or breaks (work for a college lol)
