Congrats! The graphite shadow paint on the G37 looks really good.

Also, you may want to disregard my earlier comments on modifying the sport seats. I had completely forgotten about that old thread about removing the metal supports for the bolsters.

thanks. the more i sat in the sport seat the more i got used to it. i've been driving an S since last wednesday so i spent a lot of time in it.

i also found a local car upholestry guy that was familiar with the bolster issue and could take them out if i wanted. i'll drive it for a month or so and decide.

should be dropping of the dealer's G37S i've been driving since last wed and picking up mine tonight.

The nice thing about the sport vs. non-sport differences within the G is that there is nothing that comes with the sport package which will make the car any quicker than a vanilla non-sport. Handling/Braking and Steering improvements exist, but the truth of the matter is that the non-sport already handles, brakes and stops better than most cars on the market, so few will even notice the differences available within the sport model. The Sport model is more unique, so I do believe it will exhibit better resale.

Finally got the call - the dealer found the car I wanted and it will be ready to pick up tonight. Can't wait.

I'm coming out of a 2007 Chevy Silverado Z71 4x4 - quite a change to this quick car. The one thing I will miss about my truck is the console storage. I had so much room and so many places I could put things or place my two phones. The G doesn't really have much room or a good spot to place my phones. The little compartment in front of the gear shift is ok for an iPhone (it slides right in) but it's not wide enough for my Galaxy because of the dumb cigarette lighter adapter right there. Any mods for that storage area? Where is everyone carrying their phones? I'm putting my iPhone in that small compartment and my Galaxy in the seperation between the seat and the thigh extender on the passenger seat when I am alone.

Very nice
Just don't use cruise control for the first 1000 miles (to keep the revs locked in) and you'll be ready to fly soon

Looks great! Nice driveway too

I hate to sound like a chick, but I'm a little disappointed in the minimal storage room in the G as well. It's not terrible at all, but I was used to more room in the TSX and way more room in the Q7. Perhaps I just need to pack lighter!!

Not a G, or even an Infiniti but a closely related cousin - I picked up a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder SL (leather, nav) for the wife a few nights ago. A lot of similar technology as the Infiniti obviously.
