I just want to know which communicates better with the car. Can I control either one through the g37 dash? Like pandora or music or anything like that? Whats the difference in watching videos, and what are the differences in making it work w/ the car? I know about the video pass through that's not what I mean, and I don't care about which PHONE is better I'm not starting that war. I just want to know which plays nicer with the car, and why. That's it.

 

Your iphone would be the only one to work with the car through the dash. Which really sucks since i have an android and there's not even a aux port :/, i can stream Bluetooth but it would be better with a physical connection. As for video im not sure, havn't used that feature yet xD.

 

My iPhone 5 won't play music in my 2012 G, it also won't answer calls from the steering wheel, I need to press "answer" on the screen.

 

my GS4 can answer/hang up calls from the steering wheel on my 09. i still have to use the phone to initiate the call tho and thats about it all it does.

 

Not sure about the other years but everything works in my 2013. I just tested this with my sisters iPhone 5. Just have it plugged in via usb and it can control the music and connected via bluetooth for phone functions. Phone function also works fully with my GS4, just no music control :/.

 

Infiniti offers an upgrade to the system for that problem.
