New to the G family!
Just picked up a 2010 G37X Sedan w/ Premium package.
Very happy with it so far, getting a steady 20-22mpg in typical NYC driving.
Certified Preowned so I have a peace of mind in case any of the expensive drivetrain parts decide to grenade themselves. Still have 7 months regular warranty remaining too.
Car purchase went through fine & the price was great as was the salesperson, except the dealership financing tried to sneak one by me at the last moment when I was signing the million papers...they threw a $2200 24 month extended warranty on the financing agreement and stated "bank requires it or your APR will be much higher". I wasn't interested at all in the shenanigans, so the finance guy came back a few minutes later with a new financing agreement without the warranty on it...and the same APR, I just let it go at that.
Car was very clean when I test drove & they detailed it again anyway ( and buffed it too) while I waited.
Traded in a 2004 Impreza WRX wagon on it. It was hooked up, but I kinda grew out of it...
previous cars were: 2000 Altima, 97 Grand Prix GTP, 98 Grand Prix GTP, 2005 Pontiac GTO (RIP )
So far I love it. Drives great, its right in the middle of being sporty and comfortable. Big fan of the seats, power is obviously great. Only thing that left me flabergasted was the lack of an auxiliary port. I have a droid phone so was thinking streaming pandora off my phone would be a given.
So far I ordered an electric supercharger on Ebay, neon lights, stick on hood scoops, and 28 inch rims for it, hoping to make 400hp before the year's out.
OK just kidding, we've all seen those posts though .
Not really looking to modify it. Maybe, and a big maybe, I'll do an intake, but I'll have to listen to other people's cars first before I make that decision.
Ordered brand new Conti DWS tires today , the ones it came with were "OKish"... but I don't feel comfortable driving a 330hp car with OKish tires.
Going to get new rotors and pads and tints, that's about it for now.
Including pictures of my G37 and my 2005 dearly missed GTO. I pampered that car for the 6 years that I owned it, never ran it hard and was cleaner then a hospital inside...then I let my cousin drive it, while I was passenger, and he crashed it like every other young kid crashes their camaro/mustang/vette

It was an automatic, going about 30-35mph, he decided to floor it on a winding narrow road which equals = downshift = car going sideways into someone's backyard with a big tree

Welcome to the site, sorry to hear of your GTO, really liked them as they were a great sleeper, never looked like they'd rip it up like they do Too bad Pontiac is dust as the G8 had some nice potential too

You're a good man. Not sure I'd be quite so diplomatic!
The AC is ice cold! I usually set it at 78 and let it roll. Interestingly we keep our QX set at 74 or so to keep the cabin comfortable.

Sorry about the bad luck on the GTO! Congrats on the G! You can buy a RCA cable to hook up your droid in the armrest! Hope you continue to enjoy your new ride. Maybe think twice before letting cuz drive though!

Thanks everyone!
So far I got four brand new Conti DWS 245/50/17 put on. Rides great, looks nice and wide. Tires look a little meatier from the side too, but from browsing these forums, there shouldn't be any issues with rubbing.
This will be my year 'round DD, so quality all seasons are a must for me.
