First car- Sedan or Coupe ?!?
Hey everyone i'm a new user here and just getting started. The tittle pretty much explains it all. I'm a teenager and am getting my first car soon. I know that i want manual, black and either 09' or 10'. I am having a tough time choosing coupe or sedan. I like the coupe for the performance aspect and the looks. But, I like the sedan for the ease of bringing my friends around. Most of my 'guy friends' will have their licenses' by that time if it's worth noting. I'd love to hear everyones opinions and why you feel a certain way, thank you !!

If I were single and only intended to have another passenger or a couple others for short trips then a coupe would get my vote. Having passengers on a regular basis w/ a continued use for a back seat~sedan all the way
BTW, welcome to the site!

Coupe, do it! You are a teenager, hopefully you aren't hauling around babies yet, so skip the sedan. Also if you get the coupe, there is less chance of hauling all your buddies around, which might be a good thing.
It all really boils down to what you need. Make a list of pros and cons. For me, Sedan was a no brainer, but im an old fuddy duddy. Good luck!

My first car was a coupe, and as I much as I loved it, it really was a pain lifting my seat up letting people out. I've been in sedans since and you really can't beat the comfort. I guess it depends on what's more important to you, comfort or performance?

I'd say comfort or style rather than a performance difference. The sedan and coupe both come out of the box pretty equal in performance and w/ similar aftermarket upgrades both are on a pretty level playing field performance wise. There do seem to be more body kit upgrades for the coupes though.

Exhaust after the Y pipe wouldn't be able to swap, the suspensions are compatible except for the difference in AWD lower front strut mounts compared to the RWD lower front strut mounts. (AFAIK )
