Traded my e92 BMW when I had my son... got a G37x, bought new shoes yesterday, 19" 5zigen Sports Engine - still looking at EPK or something for my ride height.
I'm totally new to modding but interested in learning.

Welcome to the forum. As you are new to modding, the best advice I can give is to read everything you can find on whatever mods you're considering. And on places besides just car forums, this one or any other. Do your homework and learn about things rather than simply asking the general forum populace what you should do. Because you will get a lot of bad advice from people who don't know any better. Best of luck and congrats.

He speaks the truth ^^
If you have specific questions be sure to go to the sub-forums, such as Tires, suspension, exhaust, etc. you'll get more focused replies (usually)
Welcome to the site, looks like you're off to a nice start, enjoy your ride

thanks guys, i've been reading the sub forums and i've been able to find most of the answers regarding my wheels.

getting an AWD makes it harder to find rims for
but reading the forums here has really helped

learned about staggered vs square and tire fitment etc.

next thing i'm gonna look for, lowering springs vs coil overs, pros and cons...

Typically coilovers are a better choice, but for the AWD X models the Swift lowering springs get mainly positive feedback, and coilover options for the AWDs is very limited compared to the RWD Gs. Cost about $300 if you DIY the install and you can probably get alignment in spec (or very close) w/out camber/toe kits.

Classy and clean would probably be the Forgestar F14's which I believe fit the x..

Welcome, car looks great! The rims are perfect. Def time for a drop and it will bring the car right together.
