Trip Computer Reset Problem

Just bought a 2011 G37x. I've reset all the maintenance alerts but for some reason I can't reset the "Other" setting. It comes up on the dot matrix LCD screen every time I start the car. I've tried turning it Off from the center display. I've tried setting it to zero miles and to 15k miles but it won't go away. Any suggestions?

No replies? Gee, I guess I stumped all of you. I suppose I'll have to take it to the dealer.

You navigate and reset it using the 2 buttons on the right side of the instrument panel, not the center console.

Thanks. I tried that again and was successful this time in raising the mileage so the warning no longer comes on when I start the car. I still find it odd that it looks like you can control these settings from the center console but you can't.

To may of us it doesn't look at all like you control it form the center console. The settings in the center console are to control the redundant maintenance reminders that are displayed in the center console. The ones in the instrument panel are controlled by the 2 buttons on the side of the panel.

If you don't use them you can simply set the mileage reminder interval to 0 and never have to deal with it again. Raising the mileage will prolong the time before it pops up again, but you'll have to deal with it again eventually. Why not just turn it completely off and avoid that if you don't use it?

The key word here is "redundant". The full color center console is the redundant display whereas the actual settings are controlled from the display that looks like a 15-year-old cell phone. Doesn't seem right. But I will turn off the ones I don't use. Thanks.
