Hello to my fellow G owners! I bought my G37S 6MT back in March and have been lurking the forums every since! I've found great info from this site so far and finally decided to make my first thread. I've done a few mods to my G since I've bought it but still have many more planned for the future!

Here are some pics from when I first bought it:




Since then I've re-tinted the windows to 18% (previous ones were faded purple), put LED license plate bulbs, added Berk HFC's and Ark Grip CBE w/ polished tips.

GTR 6/10 tail light overlays

Stillen Gen 3 Intakes
Coilover setup (most likely Tein Flex)

Nice set up, just don't forget the best part.
The tune, car is a complete different car once tuned.

Nice job, really looking good what you've done so far. As far as the GTR tails, check out this DIY thread, you'll get a much better result, trust me I've done both and painting is the only way to fly (unless you're on a lease).

Thanks for the feedback guys! I forgot to put 'getting a tune' on my future mod list, that definately will make the biggest difference with the bolt ons. As far as the GTR overlays ,thanks for the DYI thread. Those came out really nice. Its definately something I will consider.

 

Grats on the purchase...I got mine in march also and loving it. Do you like the Ark exhaust? Exhaust will be my next mod in a few months.

Gorgeous looking car with a nice shine. I really like the ARK's and would like to have some one day but looking at your picture (as well as others), they look like they sit a bit low. Has that caused any problems with them hitting things like speed bumps when you go over them?

I love the exhaust so far. It was exactly what I was looking for. Although there is a considerable amount of drone between 1500-3000 rpm (give or take) but it doesn't bother me much.

And you're right, they do sit pretty low. I haven't had any scraping issues at all yet as I'm still on stock suspension. I know it will be a problem when I lower the car which is one of the reasons I'm probably going to hold off for a while.

 

Nice G! I like the mod list. I just bought and 09x coupe myself. What part of CT are you from? Im in the new haven area.
