Hello after being a lurker on here for the past 3 weeks wondering if i should get a G37 or another car i decided to get the G37.Ive never been so happy its a 2012 and its malbec black and its such a great car in that its fast but also has that luxury feel to it,the plans i have for now are tinting the windows and maybe a intake and from what i have been researching here lets me know you guys are a great group that will help me with my modding in the future.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome! Malbec Black is going to make you work. Better stock-up on some products.

Nice pickup bro...

My suggestion...

UNLESS you are shelling out the $500+ for the Stillen Gen 3....

Stay AWAY from intakes....the OEM boxes are very efficient, much more so than all the ebay or short ram setups.

I have the R2C intake and it seems to do a better job than OEM. Acceralation seems more responsive and the sound is an improvement. Any reason why I should take mine off?

Seems like most SRIs tend to lose a little @ lower rpms and gain a bit up top.
Personally I love my Injen SRI, haven't experienced any loss in mpg at the cruising range (2000-2500rpm), and the sound and feel at WOT >3500rpm is so worth the cost. I'm sure the Gen 3 has a bit more gain overall and looks pretty tasty in the engine bay, but for almost 2x what my SRI cost I'm happy w/ my purchase, and would recommend it for the sound and a bit more pop when you open the hood

Correction* unless you're shelling out 10,000$ on a Twin Turbo kit... The OEM boxes are very efficient.

Happy modding
