Reprogram for Transmission

Hi I'm new here and loving my 2009 G37x (automatic) but when I bought it I noticed that the changing of gears was kid of harsh. I was coming from a Chrysler 300 so I just chalked it up to this is how sports cars were. Last week the car seemed like it wouldn't switch gears at around 2500 RPM. I was stuck not being able to go over 25 MPH until I got home. This happened to me twice in one week. I took it to the dealership and asked them about a reprogram for the transmission that I saw on here and it worked like a charm! The car is actually driving better than when I bought it in the first place. I just wanted to share in case anyone else was having the same issue.

I'm kind of new here, but i did read about the reprogramming. I'm glad it worked for you. My transmission isnt as sever as what yours sounds like but it seems "off". I'm making an appointment tomorrow. is there a firmware/upgrade number I should reference or is it something service department would know about?

Hey taviooo, I'm looking at the service receipt now it says "reprogram ECM to 3WNOA, TCM to X766D. Road tested to verify"

Good luck you should definitely feel the difference.
