Greeting fellow G37ers
Hi everyone. I picked up a 2008 G37S coupe back in September. I'm loving it so far. She handles winter roads in the great white north pretty well with a set of winter tires. I can't wait for summer though. I'm going to autocross it in my local sports car club's events.
My previous ride was a 2007 Civic Si coupe. It was a fun car and I'll miss it. Sadly it was written off in May. I wrecked badly when some dude from oncoming traffic decided to pull a left turn right into my path while I was going 80 km/h. It happened so fast, all I could do was brake. I plowed straight into the passenger side of his 3 series coupe. Both cars were a mess. Lucky for him, he had no passenger and only suffered minor cuts from broken glass. Unfortunately, I didn't fare as well. I had my right hand on the horn when we hit. The airbag deployed and pushed my arm into the driver seat side bolster, shattering my humerus (upper arm bone). I'm still recovering from the injury today. Thank God and the safety of the modern day automobile because the rest of my body was completely unscathed.
On a positive note, I got my G37S sooner, no more waiting for VTEC to kick in yo, and I finally know what torque feels like. Haha.
