Newbie with 2009 G37xS
Hi All,
I've been reading posts on this forum for some time now, researching my new car. I finally bought a 2009 G37xS with 27k miles on it. I'm loving the car so much, I moved up from a 2003 Maxima.
I did find one issue as I left the dealership, the rear passenger side window is making hissing sounds at highway speed. Did some research on this forum about it and found the TSB so thanks to the forum already.

I'm thinking to just tint the windows and install the hotchkis sway bars and that's about it. I usually don't mess too much with my DD car.
I got the car on Friday night, took it back to the dealer on Wednesday due to 3 issues I found wrong with it.
1. Lots of wind noise coming from rear passenger window, noise increased as car went faster. Dealer says a seal needs to be replaced.
2. Transmission was downshifting weird, like hesitating for a second before shifting. Dealer states a reprogram is available for this issue.
3. Key FOB was low on battery. Dealer will replace battery but made a fuss about it. They only gave me one FOB to begin with and I provided all three keys for the trade-in so they came around and agreed to pay for the battery :-)
All issues will be fixed under warranty and the dealer gave me a 2011 G37x as a loaner so I'm not complaining at all. Actually dealing with an infiniti dealer is day and night difference coming from dealing with a very cheap Honda dealer.
I can't really comment on the ride yet as I've not really driven the car much.

New (to me) 2009 G37x
My wife and I bought a used Blue Slate G37x about a month ago. It was in perfect condition (like new except for some rock chips). It had 35,000 miles on it and we paid $26,000. It has the Premium package ($2300) and Nav package ($2150) and rosewood trim ($550). The original sticker price was $41,875. We love the car and have no issues at all.
Could I ask you how much you paid for your car? We bought ours from a Nissan dealer and traded in a one year old Versa.

All issues were fixed by the dealership at no cost.
