New 08 Black G37S

Hey guys, just got this new G about a month ago near Raleigh, NC, upgrading from an 03 Honda Accord (Big Upgrade). I will be doing some mods to it but I'm not exactly sure what yet. I am wanting to start smaller and work my way up to bigger more expensive ones. I already have tinted windows, but what do y'all recommend next? Thanks

Car looks NICE man. I'm going to be in the big minority on this forum and say keep the stock height. It is just fine and is low enough. Wheels are of course up to you...

Congratulations...

Sway bars are a relatively inexpensive modification that will make a nice difference. I would also recommend a short shifter (if you have a manual) as a great, inexpensive mod. Anyway, welcome and have fun.

Definitely go with the LED swap. You could also do a drop, it will look and feel like a different car, I promise!

Since you have an OB (Obsidian Black), inspect your paint for swirl marks and artifacts. If you want to get rid of them and see your paint's true potential, you should consider paint/color correction. Well taken care of OBs look sick!

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome. Has someone mentioned to you that studies prove that geniuses pick the color black by default? (study conducted solely and exclusively by OB car owners for an unbiased result...lol)

Have fun!

I agree with the previous post. Inspect your paint, look for buffer trails, micro swirls/swirls, defects in paint and have a professional detail everything out. It may cost 200$-300$ but it will literally make the car look better than brand new. I just got mines as well and it's getting detailed soon.

If you are parking outside, I would recommend a car cover as your next investment. Sways and a drop. If you want go fast, save for FI(bolt ons for this car leave you wanting more)

Welcome to this forum. I am a former Accord myself. Were you a member on V6P.net too?

I would disagree with a car cover. Unless you mean the sun screen. With the car cover, you would literally have to have the car cleaned and dust free before you put it on. Otherwise if you put it on while its dirty/dusty etc it will scratch the paint. Being black especially I would not get one.
