Coupe or Sedan? There aren't a whole lot of complaints with the X models specifically in comparison to non-awd-gs. Some general complaints tend to be 7AT lag and soft paint. The AWD coupe manufacturing started in 2009, with 2011 being the first year of the XS (sport package). AFAIK, X sedans began in 2008 with 2010 being the first year of the XS but don't quote me on that, as I don't own one. As for any kind of mechanical issues, I can't recall any major reports on here about issues, though I'm sure if you dig, you may find a few of the outliers (read: lemons). They handle very well in inclement weather, snow isn't much of an issue unless it's really deep. Overall, I've been supremely happy with my X Coupe. Hope that answers your question.

g37 AWD

currently have a g37xs the only complaint i have is city gas mileage kinda sucks, and finding parts is a little tricking as far as coils, springs or tend to be more then non AWD ones.

im looking at a sedan. my last 2 cars have had lots of issues so now im doing lots of research before i buy anything. 2 cars ago i had a 2006 civic si coupe and had the trasmission issue and many other issues. lets just say in 2 years i had 23 pages of service history. and my current car lexus is 250 awd has been problem free except one issue. you will come to a stop at a light or stop sign and the revs will dip down to 200-400rpm and sometimes it will jump back up bt iv had it idle funny plenty of times and one time it started misfiring afterwards. shut it off and turned it back on and it ran fine. took it to the dealer and they said nothing in ecu bt the check engine light was on. they basicly said it didnt happen. and they wont do anything to fix it since it (didnt happen according to the ecu).
i was reading on another forum that some 12 models in the 37x sedan they are experiencing a vibration thru the pedal and some are getting vibration noise when turning. bt seems they got new parts and they got it fixed.

so im just trying to cover all my bases here.

good to know about the soft paint, my civic had soft paint and rock chiped like hell. sounds like id want to get the 3m clear bra put on then.
