New 2011 g37 coupe in Texas

It's the girlfriends... I'm into diesels. (I know, don't hate me)

Will do more searching than posting in the near future. I just wanted to introduce ourselves and make our presence known.

She is looking for mild to moderate performance gains which I know nothing about on these vehicles. This will take place slowly throughout the year.

In the meantime she was in a slight fender bender and wants to install a billet grill and bumper insert. We did some searches (which ultimately led me here) and didn't find what she was looking for. She does not want mesh. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for the help!!!

Don't do a billet grill, please (those belong on your diesels). You can always get your grill painted or maybe the stillen one. Do a search on grills, you'll see.

Welcome on board

Modding a truck and modding a luxury coupe are two different worlds, no lift kits, 5" exhausts and billet grilles please

Thanks for help guys! The slight hazing makes me feel like we will fit right in here!

I should have clarified about which grill she is is looking for specifically. Basically the stock grill without the infinity symbol in the middle. No chrome grill or "ricer" look like that. (sorry couldnt resist) I will do some searching on the site and see what I can find.

We are in the Humble/Atasocita area. May try to make one of your gatherings once we get this thing out of the body shop!

Thanks again for all the help guys.

So will it be a supercharger or a turbocharger?

I'm out in Atascocita quite a bit. That's where I went to High School. Graduated from Humble. My mom still lives in Atascocita South. Another team mate of mine lives in Walden. Come out sometime.

Another Texas G! Local one as well, nice welcome to the community. I've been actually seeing lot of G37 roaming around in houston lately; Non~slightly modified ones though. So if y'all see a SG's badged G honk and say hello!

GF has excellent taste in vehicle but I can say the billet grill idea is a fail. Keep on clicking that search button!

I'm definitely learning. Didn't realize I could remove the symbol from the stock grille.

I don't know enough yet to say if we will turbocharge or supercharge. My turbo knowledge is limited to combustion applications. Currently running a boxed BW 66/73.91 on my truck. From what I've read, Garrett's gtx line would be ideal in a smaller car like this but I honestly know nothing about these cars yet.

She also graduated from humble.

Leaning towards the stillen kit at the moment. Still clicking that search button though.

Thanks again guys

Another big thumbs down on the billet grill idea. Take a look at some of the members picks for grill ideas. Stillen if you like simple (I will be installing one myself soon), paint black keep symbol stock grill and/or midnight grill infiniti option is very popular as-well.
