n00b Introduction...

I don't own a G37 yet. I'm eyeballing a 2008-2009 for a daily driver. I've been flirting with the idea for a few years now - in truth, since the G35 came out - which explains my registration date.

Right now, the wife and I are swapping back and forth between our 2010 Corolla and 1996 4Runner for daily commuter duties. The 4Runner's gotten a bit long in the tooth and I'm hoping to keep it around long enough to hand down to my son, who will be driving in five years.

I have my heart set on a G37S coupe, but my commute is 70+ miles round-trip. Is the G37 reliable near 100,000 miles? It won't take me long to get there.

My 'toy' is a 19,000 mile 2005 GTO with somewhere around 700rwhp. It's a fistful of fun and scares the **** out of me every time I drive it.

Welcome to the forum. I'm at 73K on my 08 and it's reliable. If you maintain it properly and don't abuse it, it'll last way beyond 100K. Or even 200K.

What kind of gas mileage do you get?

Thanks for the response.

Took me long enough; finally bought a G-coupe. Found a 2011 IPL with less than 10K miles this past weekend and couldn't pass it up.

I'm dying to know - and I am SURE that this question has been asked 11ty Brazilian times, but what is the story with the wheels on the G37 below (and posted at the homepage)? They look like Forgestar F14s to me, but what are the offsets?

I'm dying to know, because that's exactly the look I want for mine.

Doric, looks like your extended wait was worth it, nice IPL for sure. Glad you found what you were looking for
Those should be F14s, as far as fitment contact GetYourWheels on the site, they deal w/ a lot of Forgestars, here's one of their pic threads FWIW, might even shoot them that pic for reference

Thanks, blnewt. I'm a longtime moderator/former administrator over at LS1GTO.com, so I'm trying real hard to be a good newbie and read first, post second. Been all over GetYourWheels.com and their threads. I think I've just about sold myself on a set of 20" Avant Garde M368s.
