Local tuner F it up for me plus all the aftermarket stuff for sti didn't fit right from manufactures. I was pushing 400whp but at the end the motor blew so i had enough with it. It was a 2008 sti they had a lot of problems with the ring lands and that's what went too at the end. So between the tuner the parts and the motor, kind of just ruined the car for me.

It actually was i replaced the motor with a new one, still have the original block and took it apart. I was expecting metal shavings every were, block damaged, but not a single trace of sign the motor was blown. So i took it apart more and middle ringland on one of the cylinders had a slight crack. The 2008 models are known for this problem and subaru is not doing nothing about and playing stupid. They fixed it in 2009 and up, there is a lot of write ups on this problem.
