New Guy, 2011 G37S

Hey everyone, I'm cardoza (name's Brian) and just figured that I would drop in and say hey. I got my car about a week ago and absolutely love it so far... I've been heavily bitten by the modding bug before and figured that I should get familiar with the car, and this site has been really helpful. My car is OB and I'm trying really hard to not modify it, but we'll see how long that lasts. The car already has a blacked out grille, as well as an all black spoiler to get rid of the chrome, to smooth out the lines, but aside from that the car is completely stock. Anyway, here are some pics that were snapped when I first got it. (I'm the goober in the green shirt BTW)

And to give you an idea of where I'm coming from, car is for sale BTW.

Welcome home Brian! We have twins!

Your first non mod should be to black out your rear emblems . It's sexy!

Nice looking car! I doubt that I'm going to black out the emblems. If I do something to them I will just go ahead and debadge the rear trunk entirely. I haven't looked very closely, but it appears that all of the emblems are held on by an adhesive that would come off pretty easily with a little heat and some fishing line.

It looks about the same as most 2011s that I've seen. Once I do get around to modifying the car, the first thing that will be done will be wheels and suspension.

6 MT! I can't stand driving auto's for some reason, I feel really detached from the car.

Goo gone and fishing line will remove the badges. I was askeered to use a heat gun. Didn't want to jack up my paint.
