[quote=namkyu;2757350]I bought my car brand new and so far I love it... except my parking garage at my company is freakin so steep. It's like 60-70 degrees incline. I'm fine on normal hills like lets say 45 degree inclines.

You know that a 70 degree incline is almost verticle. If your G can drive up an almost verticle slope i would love to see a video! Most cars would just flip!!!

But congrats on your new car and listen to what everybody else said about driving on that almost verticle slope!

I actually have no idea how to use the handbrake method. I've tried it before but it seems to be more complicated (to me) than necessary when I'm already modulating the accelerator and clutch while keeping an eye on the RPM. I don't want an extra thing to keep track of!

Best thing to do is practice more. Every little incline is an opportunity to practice... I keep that in mind whenever I'm driving and practice modulating accel/clutch at the friction point. Eventually I was able to instinctively find that sweet spot almost right away and even hold the car in place at around 1,000-1,200 RPM. This shouldn't burn the clutch.

The handbrake is a crutch you should do without imho.
