Hi new poster and owner of G37.
Just like to say hello to everyone on the forums. Been reading it everyday for the past 2 and half weeks and finally bought my new G37 exactly a week ago today. I love the car but I'm kinda regretting not getting the Nav/Tech package because I really wanted the back-up camera now that I think of it, ohh well can't do nothing about it now. Just a question do you guys have any suggestions for setting the Bass, Treble, ect... I mostly listen to hip-hop/rap songs if that is any help. Or maybe I should just leave it at default settings?

haha welcome on board, you can mess with the Bass a little but if you want more thump you can always throw a woofer in yo' trunk haha

hey, welcome to the boards! I'll just tell you straight out: our bass kinda sucks.. a lot of people end up putting aftermarket systems in. 500/1 and 10w6v2 with a 4080 enclosure is quite common.

I listen to metal and hard rock, never thought the bass was bad in our cars, most I've had the bass up is 3 levels past mid-point. I normally keep bass two levels above midpoint and put the treble one level below midpoint. Everything else is midpoint.
