New Here and an Introduction

I am new here and actually a new owner (first time Infiniti owner) of a new Moonlight White 09 G37xS Auto with Prem, Sports and Nav. I tried several cars like Audi A4 2T Quattro, C300 4matic and BMW 328xi before choosing the G37xS. I previously and/or currently owned an Audi S4, Porsche 987S, BMW E92 335 and BMW E92 M3. So initially I was leaning towards those same brands again. My wife and I replaced our Volvo XC90 T6. She is already fed up driving a heavy (but safe though) and high seating SUV plus to mention a high gas consumption. So we were looking for a sedan that has an ample leg room, AWD, sporty (for me), nice looking (of course), responsive and GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY.

My initial first order preference are (from more to least):
BMW 328xi - Audi A4 2T - C300 4matic - G37xS

Interior controls and Exterior looks
Audi A4 2T - BMW 328xi (biased) - C300 4matic - G37xS

After test drive:
BMW 328xi - G37xS - Audi A4 2T - C300 4matic

After the seating time in front and back the order was:
G37xS - BMW 328xi - Audi A4 2T - C300 4matic

Value for money with packages included:
G37xS - BMW 328xi - Audi A4 2T - C300 4matic

Quality:
Japanese against European and for me it a toss-up between the two basing it from my experience. But from reports and studies it show that Japanese quality is slightly better.

So I will try to contribute as much as possible to this great and informative forum. Post you soon.

I traded-in the 335 to get the M3. The question is, is the 335 worth 10K more than the G37? If you asked a Bimmer guy the answer most probably be YES but if you asked an Infiniti guy the answer is definitely NO. I will just reserve my answer in the near future. I still haven't driven the G much because it is my wife daily drive. So far, the G suspension and power is comparable, if not better, than the 328. The thing I like about Infiniti is that, they set their eyes on the BMW and they are really closing in.

In addition:
I also tried the Lexus IS250 AWD. As you might have noticed, I completely forgotten about it.
