The car does not play DVDs, there is no DVD player. However, if you have the Nav you can hook up a DVD player via s-video which will play DVDs only while the vehicle is parked.

I believe it's just the regular RCA plugs, not S-video.

It will play movies from an iphone as well, I did it this weekend. You have to buy an ipod cable with rca jacks on the end, I found one online for $15.00. So I played a movie trailer on my car, it was fun. Will I ever do it again, probably not. Not only does the car have to be parked, but the parking brake has to be on as well, and the screen resolution is not great.
Anyway it does work and what is impressive is the sound. You get full surround sound that will blow you away.DOMO
