New to the Import Scene
Hi all,
Just bought a black 08 G37S 6-Speed last week and am loving it so far. Bought it used with 13k miles on it. Got it for 28k, which I thought was a screamin deal!
New to the forum obviously, but not to the forum life. I've always been a muscle car guy and have been through quite a few. I always used to hang out on CamaroZ28.com, and the LS1 forums. I've owned and built up 2 LT1 Camaros, an LS1 Camaro, and a LS2 Trailblazer SS most recently. Always considered myself a V8 and a Chevy diehard, but have just gotten sick of the maintenance and little things going wrong even on the brand new SS that had the rear-end blow up 3 times, and the tranny go out after only 20k miles.
Also, as I'm growing up and doing better, it's nice to be in a luxury car. I'll get myself a muscle car to play with later on in life.
I'm absolutely loving this car though. The looks and performance were just what I'm looking for. As well as a decent aftermarket product base that I can play with a bit. I have a Stillen Gen 3 intake on it's way for me to install this weekend, and plan on ordering some springs to get that stance perfect in the next week or so. I don't plan on getting too crazy with mods on this car, but a good cat-back exhaust system and some new wheels will be in the future as well.
So anyways, hello to all, and thanks for having me!
Ryan

Welcome, I came from mainly domestic v8's so i know how it is. If you are looking for a good exhaust setup go for Berk HFC's and Borla Catback. Gives it a nice mean sound that you may like. Look on youtube for sound clips.
