Focus on getting a job, not the car when you're in school. Ultimately it will pay off, work hard, and you can get the car you want when you're out of school. It's hard but you have to think long term, not give in to the instant gratification. Don't get the car without some kind of decent, steady income.
If you have the free time, are you getting good grades? You can even look for no-pay internships to gain experience because those can be very valuable.
Other than that, there's tons of things to fill your time with but that's a different thread.

Although not what you want to hear, I'll give my opinion.
Save that money!!! You've obviously done well by saving and seem to have financial sense, but spending all your dough on a car at 18 is a bit crazy IMO. In a few years, you'll wish you had that money for a downpayment on a house, a ring for a fiance, or something like that.
Just my opinion. I got my first really nice car after landing a sweet job after graduating from college and was also able put over 30% down on my house at nearly the same time. For me, I was glad I waited until I was really financial stable in terms of cash I had coming in before spending a bunch. Now quite a few years later, I'm driving yet another damn nice car... The G37, have a sport bike, and a ton of other toys.
It's tempting to get one now, I know... Been in your shoes before. But trust me, you'll appreciate having that money a few years down the road.

See and another thing is that my mom needs her mini-van sometimes, so I have to take the LIRR to Nassau sometimes and it costs alot. I need my own car. I wish I could find a G37 under 25K but most of the used G's are above 30K. Maybe when the new year turns over used G prices might drop.

I sold my 2005 G35 almost exactly 1 yr ago for about 25k, so I know there are even better deals out there.

I got an update on finding a job guys!
It's like a miracle, I actually got one. A while ago I went in for a job posting for unarmed and armed security guards. I found out it is for Capital One bank. So I applied for an unarmed security guard at $16 an hour and went in for the interview today. I got the job but I need to take the certification course for security. I was told under them it's like 3 days or something. Anyways I'm glad. Hello FX or G

This is what I did when I was in your position. I hung a picture up of my car I wanted at the time when I started college. It was a 2002 Trans Am Black WS6 with T-Tops. I worked my **** off at school with the idea that if I can get an education, a job, then a house then no one can ever give me crap for buying the car I want if I'm within my means. After college and a couple years in the field. Bam, I get a better car and never looked back. Well, I'd still take a TA if it were handed to me, but the point is that I'm glad I struggled to get through school driving a Geo Prizm to get where I'm at today.
