335i coupe to a G37s Tomorrow Is The Day!

Hey Guys
After months of trying to buy a 335i coupe,I purchased a G37s sight unseen over the phone within minutes of changing my mind.(no Infinity dealer within a 100 miles of my house) I actually bought a 335i and after I was handed the registration and key they realized they made a $2500 mistake and confiscated the car from me and tore up the paper work.Imagine the look on my face. After that it was many conversations with other BMW dealers telling me how hot their car was and we ain't giving no deals.Long long story short I got tired of their snooty dealings and found exactly what I was looking for at the third Infinity dealer I called. G37s with nav, prem, and a few other little odds and ends.Basically paid the Edmunds TMV price, but they gave me another grand off that with a rebate and .9 financing.I figured time was running out and I was done shopping.Although it's the wifes car(she's 51 and INSISTS on a manual) I'll be reading the forums and looking into what the next mod will be.

Wow! for a higher end car dealership they should have sucked up the loss and let you keep the vehicle. Either way you end up winning, a G37 is a great car! you'll have a lot of fun.

Congrats on your purchase, lets see some pics!

I did call the cops, but they said it was a civil matter and there was nothing they could do.The problem is,I left the car there a couple of days to get the windows tinted. That's why they had the car,and was able to realize their mistake.Anyway, that's over with, picking up the G37s tomorrow in Tampa.Woo Hoo.

i would think so... if all the paperwork was done and they realized their error for not double checking everything.... it's not their fault the papers were signed and ready... if the OP really wanted to fight this he could get a lawyer i believe...

Sorry to hear that, I was born in Ocala. Perhaps you know my family, we're the local State Farm Agent's (Joe/Scott Bradshaw) on S Pine. My uncle Scott bought a Red G37S for his wife the same time I got mine. I live in SFL now but we both got our Coupes from the Jacksonville dealer he owns the Acura dealership on 200 as well. Enjoy the car!

Doug, both are great cars but you ended up with the better of the two of them. Congrats and welcome!
