don't jump on it too quick guys. I had my MREV+ installed but then I took it off.....cuz the car lost trememdous power at top end (after 6.2rmp the hp graph went straight down)....I felt losing some tq at low end, but top end my car is moving faster now...

Personally, i think most of the work is being done by the spacer. I think he did a dyno with the MREV+ on non-rev-up motor and it only shows like 2-3hp. I personally am not sold on this, i mean the spacer alone will make probably 10hp on the dynapack, it has been dyno 7-9hp on the dyno jet. So the net different from the machined lower, is minimal. The machining to me, only take off a thin layer, I personally can't see how this lil extra space can create much additional air. I'm no engineer, so I might not know what I'm talking about..ahaha

spacer cannot add 13hp, and the dyno test tony provided was officially done by Nissan of america. There needs to be more data before anything is settled. for 03-04 i might not end up being a huge gain, but for 05-06 it really helps by giving back the power Mrev robs at the top end and then some.

i posted a thread by about the same person on this forum. we will have to wait for more data on different combinations of setups before we can really say if its worth it.

I urge everyone to not splurge money and wait for more data on mrev v2.

on 1 hand we have tony's chart which is done by Nissan of North America, you cant get more legit than that. On the other hand we have another independent data showing the lower plenum dosnt do anything for 03-04 nonrev up engine that already have a spacer.

we still dont know how it affects 05-06 especially when regular Mrev robs power up top and this seems to gain top end power. there should be more and more dyno data coming in as people get their new parts installed.

Just looked over some of Tony's chart on his site to see how much they dyno the space. The first 4 charts were from the sport z plenum dyno shoot and done on a dynapack. If you compare the 5/16" to stock, the delta is around 12-13HP (non-reve-up). Now I know people were not getting much gain with the spacer on the rev-up engine. Don't know why the old lower plenum works so well with the rev-up. I did notice the machining work done to the front port on the MREV when i installed Kunal's. It looked very minimal and hard for me to see how that would add much HP. I believe there are dyno or post somewhere that, just putting in the lower plenum (MREV) will give most of the gain, less 1-3 you would get from machined lower(MREV+). My two cent is, if you got non-rev-up, get the ISO spacer!! and call it a day. For rev-up, get MREV or simply buy lower plenum and spacer. Not sure I'm a believer in the machining, it seem very minimal to me. Tony makes good stuff and is a great guy, I'm just not sold on the machining..yet
