Car Advertisements trip me out
My old acura dealer from NC still sends out mass emails to my account with "specials" they have occasionally. here is an excerpt from the email:
2006 Acura TL
6-Speed Manual or 5-Speed Automatic
Vehicle MSRP $33,940.00
Internet Discount $ 2,100.00
Total Vehicle Price $31,840.00 plus tax, tag, and documentation fee.
2006 Acura TL with Voice Activated Navigation System
6-Speed Manual or 5-Speed Automatic
Vehicle MSRP $35,940.00
Internet Discount $ 1,950.00
Total Vehicle Price $33,990.00 plus tax, tag, and documentation fee.
wtf is an internet discount??
My guess is a good buyer is going to find out msrp, invoice, and make a deal from there or some derivative of that. These discounts are funny.

its just the same number as their "special pricing".... they have this printed sheet with a list of cars and prices that they show you at the dealorship, supposedly that price is their final price, they can offer you nothing lower than that. its an effective tactic that turns the bagaining away from invoice to that price. all dealership does that, including most infiniti dealerships... i think usually you can take another 1000 bucks off if youre good at bargaining.
im sure devon can shed more light on this.

It's when you find out about the car online...you do all the talking ..or most of it online... I purchased my car from Rosenthal from their Online manager. And got the "internet discount." But you actually go to the place to do paperwork...look at the car...test drive and etc.
