For the most part, I belive the tire stays on the rim. He is out of town today but will return tomorrow. I will call him with the update.

The reason why I asked is because I would prefer to mount the TPMS prior to having the wheel(s) touched up. Just in case any other wheels get scratched.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, the touch up he does is basically re-conditioning, like sanding down the damaged area, then painting to match the rest. I do not know if he can do repair on chrome wheels. I have seen a lot of his work on OEM Nissan wheels and my own OEM 19" Infiniti wheels. His work is unbelievable, I can't even tell my wheels were ever damaged. And he repairs the wheels with the tire on it, still on the car. No need to dismount the tire, or even remove it from the car.

Cool

Sorry I'm just getting in on this, but I live near West Chester, PA and I have one wheel that needs to be re-conditioned. Anyone know someone near this area that repairs wheels as good as this guy you're talking about? The deal sounds good, but don't know when I'd be able to get near that area to get it fixed at the group rate...

You should try your local Infiniti dealer. I bought my vehicle from Willow Grove, not sure if that is close to West Chester.
