Lexus Taste of Luxury Event
Hey all,
Just wanted to post this little FYI. Lexus is having their annual Taste of Luxury Event. I went to this last year and it's SO MUCH FUN!!! You get free food, a gift, and you get to test drive all sorts of cars. SUVs on a dirt track, BMWs, Jags, the entire Lexus line up, Cadillacs, Acuras, etc. Trust me, this event is worth it and it's all FREE!

FYI...I signed up for 9/24 @ 10:15AM. Later!

Is this the same thing as the Ride and Drive event they have at FedEx field or just very similar? There you got to drive the Hummer H2 on a dirt track, drive a vette on a course as well as the other standard luxary cars....Benz, BMW, etc.
Anyways I signed up for 10:45 on Saturday too.

They didn't have a hummer last year but they had all the Lexus SUVs, X3, X5, Acura MDX, and a few others. You got to drive it up this huge dirt hill and then over some bumps. It's a good time.

Hummer and Vette were at the Chevy driving event. Hummer wasn't so much fun, but going up and down the dirt hills was impressive. Thrashing the vette was cool, but the course was way too short and I didn't get out of 2nd gear. Volvo driving event was the best driving event I went to last year - I got 2 warnings for "racing" in the S40 and was almost kicked out of the event. Benz was good just for the buffet and giveaways.

ha... sorry, just venting all the stuff i'd otherwise have shared during the meet... its pathetic we socialize more online than at the meet of the century... as for happy hour, i've been to a couple but always leave early cuz I don't want to risk being thrown in the paddy wagon with rest of the crew... besides, i'm kinda over racking up huge bar tabs - prefer to kick it at home with good stuff on hand
