List Best Happy Hour Locations in NOVA/DC

I for one like going to the TGIF off chain bridge road in Tysons Corner (the toilet bowl area). From 3-9pm all domestic beers are 1.50 a glass. Appetizers are only 3 dollars a piece (hot wings/potato skins/mozarella sticks). Also most cocktails are 3 dollars or less. There were five of us last Thursday and the total bill for food and drink was only 32 dollars!

I also like going to 1223 Thursday night 6-9pm. 15 dollars gets you all you can drink including all topshelf liquor (hypno, grey goose, etc.)

What places do you all go to? Maybe we can all meet up after work sometime.

I work in Ballston, so I frequent Rock Bottom (Wed night is $2, but its packed, so I'm willing to pay for more space). Being an old geezer, I don't drink as much (volume-wise) as I used to, so I don't get excited about cheap beer the same way I used to, and am more interested in being able to grab a seat with a good beer. Anyone up for hitting Eleventh St. lounge in Clarendon anytime? Sort of like a down tempo Gua Rapo.

Back when it was open, I thought Montgomery Grille in Bethesda had the best happy hour in town. I was really sad to see it go. $3 rail drinks and $2 drafts everyday along with some free appetizers. Was a lot of fun to sit outside right off of Wisconsin Ave. after work and just relax.

aww man vic u said guarapo!! i love that place man...its the hookah (shisha) that gets me goin...

rock bottom is sick on wed. nites for happy hr in ballston. but for me, its the outdoors and i prefer reston town center (proximity to my house) around VA (rio-grande, american tap room, clydes, paolos, uno's, mccormicks, mortons.... all in one area)...and IF i feel like driving..i might hit up sequoias (food is a$$ but drinks are drinks!!)

but for food & drinks the best bang for your buck is mccormick & schmick....they have happy hr mon-thurs from 5-630pm and again from 10pm-12am. and on fri's only from 5-630pm...they have $2 food...burger, oyster shooters, seafood nachos, ceasar salad...and the food is awesome for only $2....

Does Reston's Mortons also offer the free steak sandwiches during happy hour? Been meaning to go to the one on Conn. Ave., but its a hike. M&S has a great deal on food, but no specials on drinks then right?

damn all of these are great places... I love Rio Grande and anything that involves margaritas but I'm not picky I'll go anywhere, 'cause I don't really hang around with my high school friends anymore we're all into different things now so I'm free most of the time when I'm not visiting college buddies.

All of us have bottles at home too right? We can do a BYOB at some parking lot and all get busted... ha... what offense has a harsher penalty - public intoxication or driving 120mph?
