Suggestions for Rims...

So I'm finally lookin' to get rims... but sorta don't know what to get. I haven't really looked beyond Racinghart/Volks but I have a general idea of what I'm lookin for:

19" or 20" (9inF and 10in/10.5R)
roughly the same weight as our current tires..
NO chrome/gold/red etc, most likely Silver/Gunmetal/Black
3"+ lip R

Anyone got any suggestions?

if you have bank and are really concerned about weight: iforged, DPE, racing hart, maya/maido, volk (played out IMO), vellano

affordable rims: checkout the selction on tirerack, 1010tires, axis, tenzo, tsw, etc...

honestly, this really depends on personal preference. check the marketplace for what's available since there are usually pix. Also, go through the picture share to get a sense of what style you want. from there, its all about how much money you want to spend and what type of performance you want.

yup, it's never a good idea to ask for rim suggestion. To me, rims are very much a personal preference. Each owner has their own vision for what and how to mod their car cosmetically. Any suggestion you would get..will most likely mean, that rim is played out and everybody and their grandma has it on their G. Just browse the vendor classified and see some of their rims they posted, especially some of the newer model. See what everybody else is riding on too, you don't want something everybody else around already has.

Got mine from wheelautohaus. I think the dude is Charles. Always bargain too, they can always sell much cheaper than "listed"/quoted price.

Kunal, one of my favorite wheels are for sale on the private classifieds, They are called Junction Scara's... they are extremely rare, you have to custom order them from like Japan. Sickest wheels out there imo.. check it out (if i was looking to buy wheels, i would jump all over this) This guy is selling it way cheaper than they actually sell for also...

some of my favorite wheels are... Work VS-XX, Volk GTM or GTS, LE37... since your tailights are already blacked out, i would try and go for the stealth look and get some black wheels... and black everything else out.

Any wheels that has a huge lip but yet maintain a flat face. Then there's once that claims to have 5-6in lips but the face bulges out, like for example...the TSW thruxtons. There's nothing wrong with them, i can't even afford to even upgrade my stock 18s , but IMO, the flatter face are much more appealing.

I hear what you're saying. My spokes comes out, but the lip itself is wide but from spoke to edge isn't like 1/2 the width. I might be bias, but i personally like the spokes to be 3D-ish rather than just being completely flat with big lip. It seems too hollow for me, just my 2 cents.
