I'm gonna have to keep my mouth shut on this one... De la Hoya is practically legendary, but he's getting old. Mayweather is definetly THE young gun right now, and he is FAST.

I dunno...

I can't wait for De La Hoya to lose, so he can cry and retire again...
Seriously though, it should be a good fight.

De la hoya beat mayorga last year, KO in 6

But none of them have been as fast as Floyd. And Floyd's got a nice defense...so De La Hoya is in for one helluva fight if hes hoping to use power to win this...

That was business they work for golden boy ,Bernard, De la hoya, Shane Mosely

No way Jose!

Should be a helluva fight, puncher against boxer. Biggest fight in years!!
Mayweather is undefeated and slicker than Shane Mosley who beat Oscar twice but you never know. Oscar has the muscle, Floyd the speed.
To me it comes down how sharp and well-conditionned the Golden Boy will be to score the upset.
Slight advantage to Floyd to score more on points but he could possibly get caught by De La Hoya's power punches and find himself sitting on his arrrrse.
Not likely to happen as he faces the best pound-for-pound in the business.

It's almost a tossup IMO. Still go with Pretty Boy but not by much.
Definitely a career-defining moment for the winner.

EEEK! as much as i hate to say it, i think floyd will win! his talent is on another level than oscar's. Oscar can still bang with the best of them but i have to think that floyd is seriously the "BEST"! floyd has been fighting top notch competition since he first turned pro and always has made his opponent look foolish. i think his cat like relexes will make oscar look foolish as well. look what happen to diego corrales. mayweather DESTROYED him! i think he will do the same with oscar. so floyd will win! but if i could have it my way, i'd wish for de la hoya to win!

I couldnt say it any better man, this is exactly what I was about to type .
If Mayweather fights the way he did in the first rounds with Judah, its all over for him. Oscar is not Judah, he will knock him out. Mayweather's speed is a huge advantage, but he has never fought anyone like Oscar. On the other hand, Oscar has faught the best, he has lost to some, but still, that will be an advantage for him.

I think Oscar have slight chance of winning agaisnt Mayweather.....If he keeps is guard up & try to box i think he could pull it off...I know cuz i've boxing since i was 8 years old and now im training for my MMA...De la ho ya is old and so what???? Do you ya'LL really he got no chance of winnin???? Come one people...Age doesn't matter for this sport.
Do ya'll remember the George and Moorer in 1994??? I believe Foreman took the belt at the age of 45......Just thought ya'll would like to know....
