i was reading that the shooter was a asian with vest.. not 100% sure..

 

This is such a horrible horrible sad story..... not too long ago, I could have been in Norris in class.

Its not ANOTHER shooting at VT though, the last one had nothing to do with VT. It was an escaped convict who tried to use the campus to blend in and escape. No one was shot on the campus in that incident. He did shoot a cop on the Huckleberry Trail near campus though-

I have not been this shocked/shook up since 9/11.

Just reported 32 dead now with 28 being treated - at least 4 in critical condition.

 

he must have been executing people, shoot them and wounding them, go up to them and shoot them, making sure they were dead. instead of just praying bullet. thats just so evil

 

really makes you think when it hits so close to home. i just feel sad for everyone involved!

 

Wow, that's just completely unbelievable if 32 died and that many more were wounded. That must of meant the shooter had to emptied boxes of ammo and a shotgun isn't the fastest gun to reload and fire. I'm surprised he got away with this for so long before being stopped since those building are across campus and cops should have been close by.

 

They just said on the news that he used two 9mm handguns.

 

yup and 32 are dead, this is ridiculous.. we have classes cancelled for tommorow. There is a chaos, cell phones aren't even working since everyone and their mother is on the phone...

Not sure. They keep showing a picture of this guy in cuffs but another reporter for a local news said that was not a suspect or anything related. He was just one of the people being detained until they *knew* what was going on. The guy in the picture is Asian so maybe that's where it is coming from.

 

I have heard asian american as well. with 2 9mms and a vest with ammo clips and whatnot... someone also said they believed he lined them up and shot the execution style in Norris (the classroom). so so sad. Wish I could be watching TV- all the news outlets are still saying 22 dead online, ABCNews is reporting 29 online. 1 Would have been too many, coward should have just thrown himself off a building or used 1 shell on himself.
