yeah, i've actually see that before.. it was discussed on my350z.com, a lot of people pulled out the BS flag. here is the link... its just highly unlikely for an m3 with stock internals to pull of that kind of power, and even if it does.. its not going to last too long! here is the link..

Yeah I just hope it happens.
Another beast on the road... that would be nice.
We'll see how it will hold up.
I have faith in HPS though, they are and have been
great in the supra community.

I saw that and was wondering why the tq was falling off like that. Not that its not impressive! I see they reduce the boost twice throughout the rpm range. Im guessing for safety reasons.

its the limitation of the turbos, ive seen them in person, they are tiny. they are not capable of producing enough boost at the higher rpm ranges to sustain the torque curve. the potential to get power and torque in the higher rpm range is very limited for this car due to the small turbos. despite the impressive peak numbers in the lower rpm range, dont expect it to out drag the new M3.

I didnt notice that until just now, dang that sucks. I also heard that it would be heard to get bigger turbos for this car because of how the turbos are almost "incorporated" into the engine? Is that true?

Where there's a will (and lots of money)... there's will be a way. I only briefly seen a engine diagram, but i'd imaging it's set up similar to most turbos engine and a redesign manifold can fit whatever turbos you want..if there's space that is. Speaking of turbo, there's a shop near my house call Lucas Performance, I go there for minor stuff when i had my accord..Well the owner does a lot of 300zx and supra..he just swaped a 2jz engine into his 300zx..has a huge single turbo the size of my head popping out..pretty dope..he said he couldn't get a hold of an rb26 engine at that time he found the 2jz

its one thing putting on a stealth piggy back chip especially when you can swtich back the stock fuel map a the flip of a switch. its another thing when you are installing aftermarket turbos and changing the piping or manifold. bye bye warranty hehe. BMW + voided warranty = empty wallet
