theres only around 300k ps3 allocated to North America, which is much less than Xbox360 launch last year... most of the big stores expect 6-10 premium units and 1-4 20gb versions... so if you get in line after theres more than 12 people, then you are really risking camping out for nothing , i have a feeling people are going to start camping out on the 14th. its no longer a 12 hour campout.

yeah, youre right. By then it should be fairly easy to get one. Ive camped out for 3 systems so far and its actually pretty fun. The most envious face I had ever seen was when I got the 360 from costco and the line had reached at least 30 by then and there were only 14 units. Walking to the car with my buddy and me carrying them almost seemed a little scary lol.
I know Im gonna want it by christmas so I might as well go all out now for it..

when do you decide to start camping out? how do you know when its too late or too early? id camp out too, but im on probation at work so i cant take days off yet.

when I first read probation at work I was thinking you were in trouble until I figured out you were still within your first (3 months? 60 days?) I forgot some companys did that. whew..
