^ The new "Skyline". The new "GT-R" engine is still undisclosed. The GT-R will no longer carry the Skyline name at all.
It's similar to what Toyota did with the "Celica Supra". Yes the Supra much like the GT-R started off as the top end Celica. It wasn't until the 3rd generation Supra that it lost the Celica ties.

^^theres a huge difference in an aftermarket (custom made) dual intake/throttle body setup and a car that comes OEM from the factory with dual intakes/throttle bodies.
This is because the intake runner/plenum are is also modified so a dual intake system on an 07 might make more of a difference than on a car not designed for a dual intake setup (03-06).

I think new rating are all under SAE standard i think. So you can't compare this to any previous numbers since our numbers were overated. The IS350 is only 300 or so and so is the new 335i (though that might be a slight underating on bmw's part). That's quite an improve withought upping the displacement. They gotta leave room for aftermarket right? haha
