Undercover Cop, True Story
I was coming from Gaithersburg today and I was going home and I really did not hit any traffic until I got around the Springfield Interchange/95 South area. So instead of going 95S, I got off on Alban Rd which runs parallel and there was light traffic and then I notice this "White Chrysler 300" that is behind me and is actually keeping pace on me...of course I dont think anything about it and continue to go until I get to a red light. The 300 pulls up beside me and we have a chat:
Cop: Thats a nice car there man, Its sounds nice, I just love the color.
Me: Thanks man
Cop: Kinda hard controlling her...right...she can get away from you sometimes
Me: (Laughing)....I got that "Right Foot Syndrome"...(Laughing)
CopShows Badge)!!!
Me: (WTF, I'm screwed)
Cop: I was following you ever since you got off 95. I am not going to get you, but just wanted to tell you to ease up on that right foot of yours.
Me: Ok, Thanks man...I appreciate it
(Light turns green, I got left, he goes right).
I dont know if it was a respect thing or maybe something else, but either way...its all good. Oh yeah he was Fairfax PD.

On one hand, I guess you can say that he was just being respectable enough to let you know what's up.
On the other hand....He kind of set you up....*screams FOUL*
I'm glad he didn't get all "Fairfax" on dat @ss.... *lol* I hear they can be quite the pain.
Be safe out there you guys, this weekend. They're OUT THERE!!
--M
p.s. And I still hear commercials bulletins about them crackin down on 'wild' driving, so keep an eye out. (i.e. weavin, duckin, dodgin)
(where'd my "G"s go?)

I had a similar situation, but mine was a little worse. I was busted by an undercover cop in a Nissan Altima for racing another car. My car was impounded etc. I got an attorney immediately, and he found some info that proved to be very useful in court. To make a very long story short the cop was ruled by the court to be enforcing traffic in violation of California Law. I was sort of let off (I received two speeding tickets mandated by the court), but I was left virtually unscathed ( Trust me the consequences if I had been found guilty were worse.)
Just thought I would share an experience.
