Video of Q60s Autocross
Hey Folks,
I bought this car about 4 months ago and I've been out to a few events in stock form. It's a 2015 Q60s Limited (Which replaced the IPL, which I think is about the same except badge, ecu and body kit) either way, it's a BLAST to drive on a closed course!
So far I'm still on stock tyres, but I have installed SPL front camber arms and am working on the alignment to get a nice balance, which is where I believe I am almost at. Next is Hotchkis front sway bar and then taking care of cooling and stopping mods, plus decent rubber, before heading out to play with the big boys on a real road course without these pesky traffic cones!

Why wait? Autocross is not physically demanding on a car the way a track day is. My car is stock and I've also autocrossed in standard Mitsubishi Lancer hatch, Suzuki Swift, Honda Accord, Honda Integra, Datsuns, Toyota's, corvettes, and others I'm sure I forget.
The best thing you can do is simply do it! It doesn't cost much and the worst you could do is just not enjoy it, in which case you know before you spend money on the car

That's a shame Shuura. I'm sure your car will be A-ok, autocross is no harder than driving spiritedly on the street. In fact, probably easier because the course is usually only 30-70s long. My car is second hand and I had it on the 'track' 6 days after taking delivery
Kenny, check out the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) they run Solo (autocross) programs all over the country and I'm sure plenty of car nuts live in NJ that want to get out with their cars.
Quick google found me this:
AutoX4U.com | Everything Autocross in NJ, NY, & PA
Northern New Jersey SCCA | AutoX4U.com
