Never intended and wishfully thinking

You can start by getting some 18 inch lightweight wheels and gutting the interior.

I plan on running 12.999 or better this spring,
My first and only attempt was 13.8@ 99mph with a 2.0 60ft spinning all of 1st and 2nd on 20" wheels with -4deg camber, mods takeda cold air , megan test pipes , invidia cat back , uprev tune , note: stock clutch I feel was slipping

New mods are z1 6 puck clutch, 4.08 final drive , nitto nt05 rubber

Why wouldn't you start off the line in 2nd with higher RPM's? With 1st being so short, in a drag race it seems like it would be a pointless gear to even use

some drag radials on the rear will eliminate any tire spin, most cars on this forum dont make the power to require slicks on the rears..

If i was going to go to the track i would remove the passenger seat, rear seats both *** and back parts, spare tire + all items in the trunk including the flip piece that covers the tire and any other misc crap. Ill drive to the track with 1/2 tank of gas so that by the time im there im @ 1/4 tank of gas, thats how you shed the most weight off your car without going carbon fiber..

in addition to all that, when its race time ill take off the air filters BUT leave the pipes OBVIOUSLY. The filters impose a restriction on air flow.

My best 60' in my previous car was a 1.62...Ill be tracking my G sedan this summer, lets see how that does :\

I guess his post was deleted? Normally I wouldn't care about time slips but anyone NA that runs under 13 should post up a time slip but a video would be best.

Are you going to mount the drag radials on a lightweight smaller diameter wheel, that should help quite a bit.
