First Time at the track 1/8th mile runs

Ok went to Homestead raceway last night and had an awesome time , Two Blk Gs me and Xcalibur and my Buddy i'n his 2010 Nismo 370z (stock) here are the results.

Mods:

2008 G37S 5AT Vossen 20s w 255/30/20 tires (didn't help lol) R2C SRI and Fast Intentions catback w new X pipe!

2010 370z 6MT Bone Stock : 350HP

We had some crappy rus also at one point i was at 9.9 lol after a while i couldn't break a 9.4 and just called it quits ! I really don't like abusing my car so I'm happy w the results if i was really wanting to ET a good time i would probably be on stocks and def break 9s my car runs very strong just hard getting out the hole w my 255s they just spin out and can't hook up.

Her are the results our best was 8.72 for him my best was 9.11 i'n the 1/8th i dont track at all and don't race but was fun and still i think it was pretty good , at one point we ran consistent 9.0 for him and 9.2 for me .... We have videos that i will upload soon.

Let me know what you guys think!!!

Was fun huh!?! I'm addicted to0 and I didn't run last night

You could 408 gear hiss a$$! LOL!! JK your already getting some wheel spin so maybe a wider sticker tire?.. When we go back there, I've got 275s VREDS so we will see how much traction I get of the line considering I'm 6MT my first gear is shorter than yours.

Nice, breaking the 9s is actually a lot harder than it seems, possibly impossible for me. I hope to see y'all there in a few weeks!

TNT track is cool! Since its the pit lane of the Homestead Speedway Motor Complex we use for the 1/8 mile. You'll love the TNT track. Last night there where 2 GTRs there tearing it up along with some serious big block muscle cars and some Grand Nationals and believe it or not a Mini Cooper with a Jet Engine. That was awesome!

My best last Friday was a 9.3 out of the 6 runs. The left track is concrete and is a better launch. I'm sure I can run a 9.1 or 2 before my tune. Then Ill get the tune in a month or 2 and I'm sure Ill break the 9s. I'll post up my video later this week.

I'll also create a Post for TNT track runs in general...

Here is a good tool for 1/8 to 1/4 mile conversions...
