I ran my new-to-me 2011 Infiniti G37 Sedan Journey 7 A/T with 66K miles on it at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park last night. Track elevation is 1,145 ft above sea level and temps were in the low 80s. My only related mod is an Invidia Q300 catback exhaust.

All passes were made with the shift lever in DS mode and letting the transmission do its thing, though the first two I forgot to turn VDC off. Tire pressure was all left alone at 33 PSI - just like I would run on the street.

Run 1:
R/T ... .512
60' ... 2.218
330 ... 6.053
1/8 ... 9.185
MPH ... 79.45
1000 ... 11.857
E.T. ... 14.124
MPH ... 100.20

Run 2:
R/T ... .494
60' ... 2.187
330 ... 6.053
1/8 ... 9.206
MPH ... 79.24
1000 ... 11.883
E.T. ... 14.155
MPH ... 99.46

Run 3:
I had VDC turned off this time. I'm car 205 and I was racing against a 2015 or newer Mustang GT.

I was a little disappointed that I didn't break into 13s - especially since the stock 1/4-mile time is 13.7. Not sure what else I could've done differently though.

Just ran a 13.5 @ 103 in my fairly stock 09 G37x. I will add a Stillen CBE / Intakes next month and have it tuned with Uprev. Any idea what the outcome will be assuming similar conditions at the drag strip?

Nice e.t.! Curious as to outside temp and elevation of the track. Wondering how much this has an impact. Also, for those running A/T, are you putting it into DS and letting the transmission do the shifting or are you manually shifting?

I use DS mode launch around 1500 rpm. Regular Drive mode shifts slower also manual mode works better but you must shift perfect around 1000 rpm before red line. DS mode and D mode I noticed about half sec difference at the Trac also it's more consistent. I went from 8.90s to 8.6 flat just changing into DS mode without dropping tire pressure in the 1/8 mile.

That sounds promising. I could not cut a 60' better than 2.0X. I will try deflating all the tires to 20 PSI. Regardless, this is the best time I'll get nearly stock. I'll post new slips after mods + tune.

i personally believe that the best ET and trap speed can only be had when shifting manually. It also depends on when you decide to shift; I usually click the paddle just 500 RPM or so before red line to avoid bogging.

looks like your getting great mph and good reaction during the first 1/8 mile. better than mine and i had a 8.6 1/8 mile you might want to try dropping tire pressure that should make a nice difference. The start of the race is the most important part if you ask me.. If you can get down to 1.9 60ft you will have alot better time.. try sqeezing some 110 octane mixed with 93 lol

I ran my car a few years ago, track elevation is just under 2400 ft. 2012 G37xS - Takea intake, Berk HFC, Top Speed y-pipe back exhaust, and Uprev tune (my tune was all messed up, the tune was back from when I only had R2C intakes and the Berk HFCs)

Here's my best run, i did about 8 passes and they were all within 0.1 seconds of each other

R/T ... .4558
60' ... 2.1355
330 ... 5.9755
1/8 ... 9.1560
MPH ... 78.32
1000 ... 11.8675
E.T. ... 14.1690
MPH ... 98.43

Since then I've added a custom Y pipe to match the Top Speed y-pipe back. I've also had the car retuned with EcuTek by Seb at Specialty Z through an E tune. Going back to the track next month so im hoping to crack into the 13s with a 100MPH trap!

LPV36 seems like your making more mph in the 1/8 but your 60ft higher than mine.. im using DS Mode but your shifting 500 rpm before redline. I would try DS sometimes it shifts perfect before redline

I'll try DS again soon. I tried it only a couple of times and could not get any better than 13.7X @ 102.XX. On a side note, this car is incredibly consistent. The worst time I got was a 13.8 and at 101+. You should try shifting manually and see if you trap higher in the 1/8th
