I plan on doing something similar but keep exhaust stock and go headers/hi flow cat. You have me sold on the Z1.

It's past season and I just bought this car, I don't have to be throwing tons of money on mods right away (already has injen CAI), but I'm excited (err, kinda) to see what difference I run out here in Colorado at 5400' elevation. Generally we expect a second slower, I hit 12.5-12.6 on my R6 and GSXR 750 at the track, so I'd be stoked to even break into 13s on the G (god isn't that sad...) That being said, there are a lot of terrible drivers in nice cars at the track. I saw a beautiful blue F10 M5 in the mid 15s out here.

Nothing wrong with 13s, those were my first few times as a noob at the track on a bike

Car feels like it has more in it. I kissed the limiter on that run going into 3rd. The rest of the runs for the day were 13.0-13.1 consistently. Slowest time was 13.14 out of 10 runs.

You think you could squeeze out similar times in a 6MT?

Yeah Seb just sent me a update increasing my rev limit yesterday. I'm trying to get some NST pulleys installed this week. I will hit the track again on Sunday and see what it does. Hoping for consistent 12's and to run 12.8. This is on street tires by the way.

I think so with a good tune, weather and practice.

The more sidewall the better....

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well, but I don't think 17's will fit... however, 18's should, so I plan to look for a nice light set of 18"x11" wheels for the rear (maybe some Forgestar F14's) so I can run a set of Nitto NT555R 305/35R18 (or possibly 305/40R18) drag radials.

That's officially "beast mode". Pretty amazing for a n/a V6.
Please explain what a 3.7 FD is in your mods section.

It's a type of full differential. Automatics I believe come with a 3.3 full diff and I think manual is about 3.7 so he switched them out, not sure what the benefit is but I haven't driven both.

Quicker acceleration makes your gears shorter. The car flys though the gears now.

Good luck. I hope you can do the 305/40/18s. I'll be very interested in what you run. Hopefully you hit your goal and break into the 11s. That would be sweet....
