i put it in ds mode and let the car shift. It nails the shift points perfectly considering the powerband in stock form. On launch i turn traction control off so i have more control over the launch. Yes i power brake at 2000rpms. When i launch i push on the gas to the tires max grip point (takes learning the tires adhesion level on surface to master this). Then your pulling low 1.9 60 foots :-) Love seeing some mustangs out there with huge tires on the back cutting 2.0'-2.1 lol.

Those are some awesome times. Knocking on the door at 12's is VERY impressive for any stock V6.
I had a loaner auto when I took my car in for service and it felt quicker than my modded 6 speed.
What part of FL are you in? A few of us are going to do a day trip to the Bradenton track on 12/14.

The best way to get a fast 0-60 MPH for the infiniti is to brake torque it on DS mode.
I find it around 2k-2.3K RPM while holding the brake for less than 5 secs.
You do not want to break torque longer than 5 secs, bec. the ECU will reduce power to prevent stress on the torque converter and bog you down when you launch...
I have an Uprev tune on my Crossover EX35 AWD (4k pounds weight) and I managed to clock it at 6.16 secs 0-60MPH using this technique. If I just punch the gas off the line without brake torque, it consistently only getting 6.4x secs 0-60.
For the G37x I assume maybe 1.8-2.0K RPM for torque braking since the Transmission is close gearing on the 1st few gears..

2013 G37 xS Coupe 7AT:
13.796 @ 100.31
13.735 @ 101.29
Tires not original, replaced the old ones with Michelin brand. All else stock.
Yes, that's an embarrassing .499 reaction time.

Pretty much exact times I got last year with my 12 xs coupe with Stillen intake. I'm pro tuned now with exhaust and hfc's hoping this year will be low 13's.

Took my car to the track tonight. NE Dragway in NH. 80 degrees to start and at end of the night it was 70. 65% humidity didn't help. the track conditions seemed good. The best I could run was a 14.018 @ 101.6. Best trap speed was 101.9. My wheels are pretty heavy so that's hurting me, but my 60 times sucked. most were 2.2-2.3. Best was 2.184 60'. It seemed I could not brake torque or it would bog even if I only did if for a few secs. Overall it seemed I couldn't launch hard at all. I tried DS mode and D. Best time I got and 60' of 2.184 was when I just stomped on it (no breaks torquing). I never spun once the entire night. I have a bunch of questions.
1. What is the best way to launch our cars?
2. Can you effectively brake torque and how?
3. What is the best test pipes for our cars, how much do they cost and do they throw a CEL?

I know that Berk makes some decent test pipes. I've heard that it's hit or miss as to whether or not the car will throw a CEL with test pipes or not. But what you want to make sure to looking for is a fairly long j-pipe on the test pipe where the O2 sensors connect. This will help minimize the chances of a CEL. I've been running Berk HFC's of my car for the past 3 -4 years and have never thrown a CEL. I just recently pulled them off in favor of the stock cats to help minimize drone on the freeway, so I'll probably be selling them if your interested.
