Guy's with bolt-ons and how they transfer to speed

Hey guys, I think I'm starting to get bit by the mod bug and I was looking for some feedback.

As we all know our G37's tend to dyno in the 275-285whp range on average stock, correct?

And we also know that guys are getting pretty impressive WHP gains from bolt-ons and tunes and such.

My question is I'm wondering how this is translating into speed for us?

In ideal conditions - If we can get a 13.5 or a 13.7 trapping around 103-105mph while making 275-285rwhp, I'm wondering how quick that G37 with Intake, exhaust, headers, HFC's, and a tune is running now that he's making what, 305-310-320rwhp? Maybe more?

How quick are you guys with bolt-ons running? And more importantly what are you trapping at??

Can anyone shine some light my way?

Not sure, but I'll have an answer to that next month hopefully. It will be hotter next month though, I wonder how that will effect my 1/4 mile time.

there are too many factors....track conditions, grip, driver skill,..to determine 1/4 mile results.

i think the question should be 'how should an n/a modded G37 do with a good prep'd track and an experienced driver do?'

of course no one can really answer that...that could only be answered when someone actually does it.

Assuming identical conditions at a given track, drag radials will give you the best improvement in time, assuming you have the experience to utilize them.

Barring that, bolt-ons will rarely yield more than a few mph trap speed. If anything, the weight loss helped more than the power gains.

+1 for drag radials. they're the single biggest improvement for any bolt-on.
