Any 'Official' 1/4 mile "quickest" list?
This is mainly for the guys who track their G37's at the drag strip.
I was wondering if there are any list's of some of you guys who have taken your cars and tried to run them for time down the 1/4 mile. Stock is my main question, but if any of the modded guys would like chime in also, by all means I personally would love to hear.
I know Car & Driver and Road and Track have both run 13.7's. And I've seen 13.7 and 13.8 posted in other magazines. But I want to know what the actual drivers of our cars are getting. What are the best getting? 6 Speeds, and automatics as well. Personally I think if some guy from car and driver, and road and track or wherever can run a 13.7, someone who actually owns the vehicle and drives the vehicle more often, and basically knows the car like the back of their hand, might just have a slight edge in launching and banging out 3 gears, I feel. Maybe not. I could be wrong. But I would love to know either way.
I recently just purchased a 6 speed '09 coupe with the sports and premium package, and will be testing this theory out at the track myself once my car breaks in a little more.

I ran mine and got a 13.8 as my best.
I am by no means the worlds best driver either, though my 60' was a flat 2 which was the key. I can try to find the slip if someone needs something official..
I know there is a video on youtube somewhere as well...

Good stuff. 12.9 with tires is amazing! This is exactly what I was looking for.
And nice 60ft Jess. That launch would lead me to believe you aren't so bad either Maybe your car will wake up a bit with more then 120 miles on her. I know my old G (DE) certainly did.
I only have about 500 miles on my car now, so I'll be waiting a little longer before I really open her up. I can't wait though.
And good luck this weekend Boxer!

??? I think it turned out an actual slow time for what it is. Theres 4100lb GT500 Mustangs hitting high 9s at 800rwhp. Z06 weighs 3200lbs.
For the other question, I launched around 6000 rpm.
