LoL, the mods dont like the idea of "racing" being discussed on the boards....better rephrase it before they jump in to this....
BTW the IS350 is quick but not faster than the G...not like I would know or anything

you cant talk about racing? okay..
i dont have a g37, but i have a 535i, i was having a "friendly cruise" with a "friend" from a stoplight. The 535 is 300 horsepower, so that g37 probably wins.

Illegal racing threads are not allowed. 1/4 mile drag and track races done at tracks are allowed to be discussed as long as you post timeslips so I don't have to throw out the "this thread is worthless without pics" thingy.

stock 6spd coupe here. i ran the same day as dieseldoug.. i wasnt experienced at dragging a manual car and conditions were very poor.. 1100ft+ elevation, 100deg+ weather, headwind..
got a best run of 60' 2.14 and 1/4mi 14.5 @95.6mph
both our cars shoulda ran much quicker and i def think doug woulda seen 13s at another track

actually...IS350s have been known to get into mid 13s stock. the gearing is what really helps on these cars. but they don't seem to handle very well though.
this one only had an intake pipe...stock airbox, stock exhaust : 13.5 @ 104.5mph
