Launching??

I'm taking my car to the track within the next few weeks. I've never launched the car. Any tips on what RPMs i should launch the car at and any tips on getting better 1/4 mile results (example: tire pressure, what RPM to shift at, etc). Thanks in advance for feedback.
BTW: my car is completely stock (6MT)...there's a chance i'll have Berk HFC's before i go but im trying to go before and after i start modding.

Lower your tire pressure... And launching depends on your conditions and how new your rubber is

Temperatures make a big difference as well... i would launch at 3-4K slip the clutch out a little bit... Try to shift at around 7k because after that the fuel starts to cut off...

i dunno man, it even happened in my 07 G35, whenever i have the clutch to the floor and give it gas, smash the gas down and try to come off the clutch and the clutch like stays down and the gas pedal stays down and the car doesnt move.

sounds a bit high to me... The stock clutch cant handle that. Try 3200-3500... should get some better results. Miss driving an sti some times.. where you can launch at 5500 and get no wheel spin and not burn clutch...
