Launching??
I'm taking my car to the track within the next few weeks. I've never launched the car. Any tips on what RPMs i should launch the car at and any tips on getting better 1/4 mile results (example: tire pressure, what RPM to shift at, etc). Thanks in advance for feedback.
BTW: my car is completely stock (6MT)...there's a chance i'll have Berk HFC's before i go but im trying to go before and after i start modding.

Temperatures make a big difference as well... i would launch at 3-4K slip the clutch out a little bit... Try to shift at around 7k because after that the fuel starts to cut off...

sounds a bit high to me... The stock clutch cant handle that. Try 3200-3500... should get some better results. Miss driving an sti some times.. where you can launch at 5500 and get no wheel spin and not burn clutch...

yea, the same problem happened 3 times already, i would try to launch hard then the stupid clutch would just not depress. motherher rpm went all the way up to like 7k...chiiitt. i think the best would launch around 3k.
