Just to make it clear, are you comparing to an 07 Coupe with sport or and 07 G35S Sedan?

I don't even think it would come down to a driver's race. I feel that it would come down to the car's themselves. Given the facts from when the G37 was tested against the 335i and seeing the results, the G37 should always beat the G35 stock for stock. I don't think the G35 has ever gone up against the 335i in a full test comparison situation, but from the stories that i've read, the G35 always lost and usually no less than 1 car length.

G35 Coupe vs G37 Coupe: The G37 will beat it- no question!

G35 Sedan vs G37 Coupe: They are both even in the 1/4 mile; beyond the quarter the G37 will slightly pull ahead.

I drove both cars and came away very very unimpressed with the G35 Sedan. Rated at 306hp, it felt like an ox-wagon compared to the G37 coupe. I can't believe they run that closely. I considered getting the G35 sedan, but after that test drive I did not even think of the car anymore.

One recently raced my boy in a clk 500 the basically tied. There was a bit curve in the road and who ever took the left lane won... 07 g35 was told not to break rev.. bc if it did it would take him so they wanted to just pin both cars.
